Description
When I was in Japan I visited a wood carver who made Buddhas. Inside of these large figures he would implant a semi- precious stone. This image has stayed with me. These pieces are designed to sit on a sunny window shelf and the light will shine through. I have deliberately kept the forms simple. The glass are solid coloured blocks. I like to mixed mediums.
